Show Waterside Some Love!

Waterside Loves YOU. And we mean it.

Right now, youth-serving organizations across the country are navigating one of the most challenging funding environments in recent memory. Waterside is no exception. But here's what's also true: we're not slowing down.

This spring, we re-opened Street Level Cycles, our community bike shop. We launched Street Level Cycling Club, bringing riders together around a shared love of the road and a commitment to community impact. And every day, we're showing up for the young people who count on us — connecting them to paid internships, hands-on training, and the kind of supportive community that changes trajectories.

None of it happens without you.

In a moment when so much feels uncertain, you have been the steady thing.

You've shown up. You've donated. You've volunteered. You've cared. And because of you, hundreds of underresourced young people are accessing their first work experiences, building real skills, accessing mentorship and support, and going on adventure trips that boost their confidence in ways that last.

Anyone who's spent time on the water knows: when conditions get choppy, you don't panic. You steady the boat.

That's what we're asking you to do this season.

Become a Recurring Supporter

A monthly gift of any size — $10, $25, $50, $100, or whatever feels right — is the most powerful thing you can do for Waterside right now. When support is predictable, we can plan responsibly, pay our staff, and keep programs running no matter what comes our way.

Prefer to give quarterly or annually? That works, too. Every recurring commitment helps us stay focused on what matters most: our youth.

Reliable support means young people continue to access:

  • Paid internships in bike mechanics, woodworking, gardening, and customer service
  • Boatbuilding and paddling programs that build craftsmanship, teamwork, and leadership
  • Free and low-cost bike repair and community workshops
  • Saturday classes, school break camps, and skill-building programs
  • A welcoming home base at Aquatic Park where youth can show up, feel capable, and belong

And because we love you , we want you to ride with us!

Street Level Cycling Club is Waterside's homegrown community of riders who share a love of cycling and a commitment to the young people we serve. We host rides for all levels. When you ride with us, your miles matter.

Join the club. Support the mission. Help us steady the boat.
