Waterside Needs YOU–to Keep Bikes Turning & Youth Learning
Where Community Builds Opportunity

We’re raising $50,000 by December 31 to keep youth job training and community bike programs running.
Because of recent grant revenue setbacks, we’ve had to reduce staffing at Street Level Cycles and scale back youth programming — putting critical opportunities at risk for young people and threatening the future of a space that has meant so much to this community.
Your support today keeps our doors open, our tools turning, and local youth working, learning, and thriving. Every action makes an impact.
Why We Need You
For nearly 20 years, Waterside Workshops has provided hands-on job training, mentorship, outdoor experiences, meals, and a safe space for Bay Area youth to build their futures.
But today, severe funding losses have created a perfect storm. We’ve already had to cut staff. Without community support, we’ll have fewer paid internships, fewer hours, fewer mentors, and fewer opportunities for youth who rely on us most.
We must raise $50,000 by December 31 to stabilize our programs and continue serving local youth.
We’re working hard to stay self-sustaining, but we can’t do it alone.
This community built Waterside, and together, we can keep it thriving.
