Show Waterside Some Love!
Waterside Loves YOU. And we mean it.
In a moment when so much feels uncertain, what has remained steady is our community
You’ve shown up.
You’ve donated.
You’ve volunteered.
You’ve cared.
And because of YOU, hundreds of underresourced young people are accessing a supportive community, their first work experience, and adventure trips that boost their confidence.
At Waterside, we spend a lot of time on the water. And anyone who’s ever been in a boat knows: when conditions get choppy, you don’t panic. You steady the boat.
This spring, we invite you to help steady the boat by building the kind of reliable, consistent support that allows us to keep serving youth and families no matter what winds come our way.
When support is predictable, programs stay strong.
When funding is steady, we can focus on the programs.
That’s why this season, we ask you to consider a recurring commitment to Waterside Workshops.
Become a Recurring Supporter
A recurring monthly gift, whether it’s $10, $25, $50, $100 or $1000 or any amount that feels right for you, helps us weather uncertainty and keeps our programs strong.
Prefer quarterly or annual giving? That works, too.
Reliable support means:
- Paid youth internships and job training where young people learn bike mechanics, woodworking, gardening, and customer service skills while earning income and building confidence.
- Hands-on boatbuilding and paddling programs that teach craftsmanship, teamwork, and leadership on and off the water.
- Free and low-cost bike repair services and community workshops that keep families riding and remove barriers to transportation.
- Saturday classes, school break camps, and skill-building programs that give youth access to tools and trades many schools no longer offer.
- Community events and open shop time that bring neighbors together and create a welcoming space for connection.
- A stable home base at Aquatic Park where young people can show up, feel capable, and belong.
Your recurring commitment helps us plan responsibly, support our staff, and continue serving young people and families without interruption.
Our goal: To raise $15,000 by May 1.
Because when support is steady, we can be steady for our community.
And Because We Love You…
We’re launching something new.
On March 14, we kick off Street Level Cycling Club, Waterside’s homegrown cycling club that brings riders together around a shared love of riding and a shared commitment to community impact. Join us!
When you ride with us, your miles matter.
Street Level Cycling Club will:
- Host rides for all levels
- Build connection among cyclists
- Directly support Waterside’s youth programs

Because this is what love looks like in our community:
We show up.
We ride bikes and row boats together.
We invest in young people.
We build things that last.
Waterside loves you. Will you help us keep going?
